The other day I played a pick up game of Rugby with some members of our karate club. I haven’t played football in a while, and I had no clue as to how well I would perform against some of the other club members. My weight training really payed off, as I was able to pretty much dominate the game defensively. Focusing on my posterior chain and core strength definitely improved my speed and agility on the field. We lost by one score, and considering 3/4s of us had never played rugby, thats not so bad.
