Testosterone Total, Free + Weakly Bound

Hi Everyone - My doctor just did labs and the above test was included in the results. My total Test was 1235, my Free T is 33, but my Testosterone Total, Free + Weakly Bound is measuring at the below. The figure seems extremely high in comparison too the reference range. Any insight on this number and what it means?

Testost., F+W Bound

727.4 High

40.0-250.0 ng/dL (reference Range)

Are you on TRT? If so, what is your protocol and when was the lab draw relative to your last injection? How old are you?

Also, without normal ranges for all of the tests (TT & Free T) we can only guess at where your numbers are relative to the lab’s normal ranges. However, a Free T of 33 pg/mL is on the high side of normal for a 20-30 year old male according to my lab’s normal ranges, but you should never compare numbers across labs.

Looking at your Bioavailable T (F + Weakly Bound), it seems quite high relative to your Free T and to my lab’s normal ranges 48-317 ng/dL, but again, you should never compare numbers across labs.
