Hello everyone, I just started an experiment to boost my Testosterone using supplements.
I’ve been following a ‘‘program’’ I made up to get things varied in a way. I started this 10 days ago. The program consists of two supplement stacks that are similar in a way, but there’s a difference in quantities and also ingredients. I’m going to call them A and B.
-A:
D-aspartic acid 3000mg, Tribulus Terrestris Extract (40% saponins) 1500mg, Zinc monomethionine 150mg (as far as I know, it provides 30mg of Zinc), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate) 25mg, Vitamin D3 20mcg, Vitamin E (D-alpha-Tocopherol) 121mg and Creatine monohydrate 15g.
-B:
Magnesium Citrate 200mg, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate) 10mg, Zinc citrate dihydrate 10mg, Vitamin D3 50mcg, Vitamin K1 (Phytonadione) 20 mcg, D-aspartic acid 2352mg, Nettle leaf extract 4:1 40mg, Red ginseng extract 4:1 40mg, Fenugreek extract 4:1 40mg, Boron Citrate 8mg, Piperine 5mg, Creatine monohydrate 15g and L-Carnitin Tartrate 1/2 measuring tsp.
I take one day A the next day B. A, B, A, B and so on.
-On day A, I take it 30 minutes before breakfast (D-aspartic acid, Tribulus and Zinc come together and are divided into 6 capsules, so I take 2 in the morning with the rest of supplements, and 4 capsules 30 minutes before training) Creatine Monohydrate though, I take after breakfast.
-On day B, I take it 20 minutes before breakfast. Except for the Creatine, which again, I take after breakfast, and L-carnitin tartrate which I take after Training.
I plan to take that for 1 month. So on February 10th I will have a break for 2 weeks. Then I will resume for another month (if it works).
I’m going to get bloodworks done on those 2 weeks of rest. I guess it’s a nice and appropriate time to do it, to avoid interferences on the test results.
I was thinking checking Prolactin levels in addition to Testosterone levels. What else should I check?
Any other comments or suggestions? I know it’s quite a cocktail but being just supplements I couldn’t think of any other way to really get results. There’s many things involved in the hormonal process. As you can see some ingredients are for boosting testosterone and others to control unwanted side effects like Prolactin rise. I know getting actual Testosterone is more direct to get results, but it’s not possible for me to get it. And it’s also a huge step to take anyway.
Like I said, I’m open for suggestions and extra info you think might help the cause, so we all learn and find the best way together. Also if you have any questions about my post, feel free to ask. I’m not an expert though (not even close), all I know and do is because I’ve been researching and contrasting info for a while on official medical/research papers.
