This situation sickens me deeply, down to the very pit of my being. But what sickens me worse is the cowards we actually harbor within this country. I was speaking with some students at my college and a bunch of them said that they would dodge a draft if war broke out. What kind of future do we have if no one will fight to keep democracy and freedom alive. I agree that the only solution is war. Our mini pax romana is over. This amount of death on United States own soil warrents a war in the least. And I will be one of the first to enlist when war breaks out.
There are plenty of people in the military at this point. There is no need for a draft and no need for you to enlist unless you really feel compelled.
