This idea was first made by DaneMuscle but I’m impatient and have too much time on my hands so I’m just gonna go ahead and get it started.
The challenge is to a 400 Wilks. If you’ve already completed this goal or have another goal set just mention it in your post. Although this is a challenge, I really want this thread to be a competitive, supportive, and informative environment for teen powerlifters to be able to watch their progress and reach their goals. Whether you compete raw, raw w/ wraps, single ply, multi-ply, whatever. Even if you don’t compete using the same equipment you can still be friends lol Please do not hate on others because of how they choose to compete. If your equipment makes this goal easy then adjust your goal. For example if you use knee wraps just add â??55 lbs or 25 kilos.
Go ahead and post your age, height, weight and numbers. Also post what type of equipment you use to clear up any confusion. My main reason for this is a lot of guys get called out for depth because of ridiculous squat numbers that could be explained by the use of a suit. Post now, when you’ve achieved the goal and any PRs you hit along the way. Videos would help with both legitimacy and to get form advice since most of us probably need it due to our relatively young training age.
I’m currently: 18 years old, 5’10" tall, and compete at 181. Current PRs are a 435 lb. squat, 325 lb. bench, and a 495 lb. deadlift. I compete raw with knee wraps
We definitely need to standardize equipment rules in a way. I think a little lower might be more appropriate, but think the idea is good. Maybe first to a 400 raw wilks.
Anyway, first PR of the thread, everyone should post their PRs
The dumbbells are 50 kg/110 lbs.
I am 18 years old been training properly a year and a half-two years, I am planning to compete at 82kg/181lbs in december my current numbers are 190kg squat in knee wraps (done this morning) 130kg paused bench press and 248kg deadlift

LOL for me a 400 wilks is higher than 7x bodyweight XD But I’m up for it, I’ll change the original post.
What were your ideas on standardizing equipment?
I’m not sure what you would find fair, but my federation (IPF) doesn’t allow kneewraps in raw competition, so of course that would limit me and fellow IPF lifters. I wouldn’t want to limit the guys who want to wear knee wraps, it just divides the numbers we’d post. I’m not sure how we’d fix that.
18 285 550/365/650
current cycle bests
525 x 3 sets x 3/315 3 sets x 3/500 10 sets x 3
wilks score is 402 i think
and some vids to back it up a bit
-500 pound warm up last week
-600 pound dead last november

yep, been a while since i hit up some heavy squats(besides paused) without em
Just finished what I consider to be a poor performance at the RPS Pennsylvania State meet. I weighed in at 179 pounds Friday morning after a miserable cutting experience down from 195 the Friday before and being 187 the day before. I didn’t sleep well the night before and was not feeling my best the day of the meet. Now that I have my excuses out of the way I’ll get to the actual meet. My warm ups felt surprisingly good. Opened at 405 and felt pretty good. Went up to 435 and failed it twice. This was the first time I’ve failed a 435 squat in quite a long time. I gave up on my third attempt pretty quickly because I tweaked my back a bit on my second. I was still a bit frustrated when I started benching and had trouble gaining confidence. Warm ups felt good again as did 295. My second attempt the pause felt like it was forever and I just couldn’t push it out. And my third I didn’t have enough left. So failed 315 twice. I actually got farther on my second attempt then I thought so that was a nice surprise. Deadlift did pretty well actually. Started with my hips much higher than I normally do because my back actually felt better that way. Opened at 475 and was pretty easy. My second attempt was the first time I’ve officially lifted 500 and was fairly easy. Felt a pull that I didn’t like in a hamstring I pulled last August. My main takeaways from this meet are the weaknesses I need to hit. My squat form was atrocious, my knees caved hard and my hips shifted weird out of the hole. I need to work on longer paused benches and more floor presses to break through that wall I seem to hit when my upper arms hit parallel. And I really need to work on strengthening up my hamstrings so they can handle heavier pulling. But as bad as the meet was the main goal going into this meet was a 1200 total and I did hit that so I’m just going to move up to 198 over the next year and see how it goes. Wilks- 368.17
Nice meet, why do you bench with such a close grip though?
Just hit a 250 kg/551 lbs, deadlift at 100 kg BW for a 30 kg PR.

Thanks man
Cause it works lol I don’t really know why, I was just playing around with it a while ago and found I was much stronger this way. I’m working on bringing my grip out now though because I do think I’ll be able to bench more over the long term wide.
Using a close grip/stance on any movement Can have you move light weights faster and make you Think you’re stronger like that. Although in my experience even though wide stance/grip Can seem awkward, most People including myself Can grind better With lowbar wide stance squat, wider grip bench and wide sumo deadlift. Just my 2 cents. Interesting tonic.
Just hit squat triple at 365 without knee wraps, on my way to tripling 405 without wraps before I put them back on to solidify some form and get more strength out of the hole. 30 lb pr.
Hello. My name is Jacob. I’m a collegiate track and field athlete with plans to compete in powerlifting. I’ve been training for the biog 3 for the past 2-3 years. Best lifts are 635 squat, 385 bench (no vid) and a 605 deadlift. Wilks, 428.99 based on best lifts, 417 based on best mock meet. Everything is beltless and wrapless, with the exception of inzer 24" wrist wraps.
Heres mah squat.
Forgot to add I weigh 252, but am trying to cut down to the 220’s or, more realistically, the 242’s.
