Not what I expected. It seems that the residents of 4chan are lazy, indolent, entitled 12-year-olds without ambition or political awareness.
I always hear about 4chan but still have no idea what it is. A quick search of their site still has me baffled…

This is a good description.
As mentioned above, /b/ is simply a forum within the 4chan site. It’s essentially an off-topic forum but with no registration required. There are very few rules for posting or moderation of any kind.
This forum seems to be a magnet for the dregs of the internet world.
