T Nation

T-Nation in the UK

Yeah I do like it here. When I was on the UK Mens Health boards, it was full of all talk fat arses. Couldn’t stand it. They basically had an obsession with doing new fad things only.

I can imagine most of their members standing in the dark by the power rack, surrounded by candles with no clothes on, swinging around Olympic bars butt naked, thinking that will somehow build muscle.

The attitude here is much better, I feel a bit more at home here. It would be interesting to see the nation spread more into the UK too.

I’m currently in England (though will be back in Ireland by June).

I know a good number of people in the UK who read T-Nation but none of them bother with the forum.

Some of the most respectable veterans around here are from the UK (Bushido Bad Boy comes to mind).

But the forums are at least half the entertainment! I’ve gained a lot more knowledge on the forums from experienced members than I have from most of the articles.

OP, I started an Irish T-Nation thread a while back.

Why don’t you do a UK one??

Just a thought ;o)

Already one here.

(Yup, proof that I’m a thread killer alright.)

That would of been decent, I’m in Liverpool. But you killed it off. Bastard.

Relocated Brit here.

Used to read forums from the UK as well

Im from gloucester and i saw a guy with a T-Nation top on in the gym the other week (well month), didnt get around to talking to him always wondered if he was on the forums.

I’ve never seen one. I’m going to have to buy myself a couple, see if I get approached by anyone. Are they only available on this site?

“Hello, I noticed you’re wearing a T-Nation shirt…I’m wearing a T-Nation shit too”

‘YO MAN YOU POST ON T-Nation???’

‘AYE, RESPECT BROTHA’

‘YO THAT SITE IS FUCIN AWESOME. HAVE YOU READ THAT ARTICLE BLA BLA BLA’

Would be a good conversation starter with a fellow brother

T-Nation is pretty much an American group, but will it ever expand overseas? I’m under the impression that most of the contributors are American. Also, if it was to expand to the UK, how would that actually work?
What do you mean? Would you want articles that are written by UK members?

2 people that come to mind that could do such a thing are:
Bushido Bad Boy
Dave Rogerson

I’m sure there’s many more.

During the summer I wear T-Nation shirts all the time, I’ve never once had someone notice it.

LR

Ive introduced alot of my country men to this site in a bid to better inform them.

although they initally assume Testosterone Nation is either a steroids website or a homoerotic site

One Brit sounding off. I don’t post in forums much (have not one life, but several) but love the attitude here. Rock on guys.

British here aswell…

Would love a british store with no ridiculous import or delivery charges.

Im sure it would also help our european brothers aswell for products.

Hmm I was thinking about maybe just patting him on the arse or something.

UK here as well. From Folkestone, the place with the Channel Tunnel.

Pretty new to this game, but I love this site, so much good info, don’t post all that much on the boards just happy to soak up the knowledge at the moment.

Would love a UK store though… Although Performance Foods (the distributors of BT in the UK) seem pretty good. Just updated to stock L-Leucine and are going to stock SWF apparently. No HRX though…

Seems like the UK representation is from all around the country. How many of you all are in London?
Other than a UK specific forum or cheap(er) supplements i’m not sure what else is needed for the UK. Isn’t that the whole point fo the internet? Easy to access no matter where you are?

It would be cool to know which gyms you all frequent. I would kill for a gym in London with bumper plates and trainers that won’t tell me that heavy deadlifts are “bad for your back”

I think I’m the only Maltese on these boards
Btw Bicep_craze I’m Maltese as well. Born in San Gwann. Grew up in Mellieha. I went to Savio College in Rabat and St. Alberts in Valletta. Living in the UK at the minute but will be in Malta this summer.

I’m in SE16 in London. I go to the Fusion in Southwark Park, however they are rumoured to be closing down in the next couple of months so I think I may move to a gym near London bridge (Top Notch I think it’s called).
