Well, after a couple of years as a member of T-nation I really feel like I know some of you–and others I’d like to.
I’ll get right to the point: what does everyone think of putting together a T-Nation convention, gathering–whatever you wanna call it? Wouldn’t that be incredible?! Maybe some guest presentations by T-Nation writers, some workshops, etc. The rest of the time–eat, dance, party!

I don’t mind traveling if it’s a cool trip. Might I suggest my home town Vegas, easy and cheap to get to and plenty to do. I would love to meet some like minded people and maybe even start a real estate syndicate. With the net the t-men out there could be bigger then Fight club.
I vote for Vegas.
They did it about four or five years ago in Orlando. Apparently, it was really successful too. Why havent they done it since? Orlando would be a great spot, or how about West Palm. Its really nice this time of year.
I need a vacation, and a T-Nation convention would be wonderful. Vegas would be wonderful. Weights, women, and poker. My three favorite things. Granted, the women are bring your own (ie–paws off of mine. This means you, TC).
Also, a convention would be very motivating. I am one of the larger guys at my gym at 6’3", 220# and it is depressing. Associating with a group that makes me feel like a little girly-man would force me back under the stacks, to prepare for the next gathering.
It’d be a real sausage-fest dude.
TC has said before that if a group asked them to come out, they’d definitely consider doing some kind of Biotest/t-nation gathering. I think the reason “they haven’t done it” again is that a reasonably large group hasn’t come together and asked them to.
What, do you expect them to just point at a map at random and schedule a convention in a place and at a time that will have dubious reception?

How big is a ‘reasonably large’ group? I’m not trying to be a smart ass -
