On workout days on the t-dawg diet, can oatmeal be used as part of the regular 30 grams of carbs from the regular part of one’s diet, not counting the post-workout shake? With oatmeal and a shake, my total number of carbs comes to about 55 grams.
Don’t forget to allow for the incedental carbs found in foods that you’re eating on a daily basis. If you don’t exceed your daily allowance for carbs, add oatmeal. Re-read the article to be sure.
The new guidelines allow up to 100 grams of carbs per day.
