Synaptic Facilitation

SF is a method to train the nervous system. It is used by the Bulgarian weiglifting teams. They lift about three times a day, but never come close to failure. The point is to warm up and then to do singles, but never get tired. SF can also be used for pullups - five or six times during the day do about half as many as your one set max.
For those of you familiar with SF, how long can one expect to keep their strength if they go back to a normal routine? I’m sure that the nervous system would adapt to the sudden lack of SF stimulus and your strength gained from SF would drop.
