Swimming for cardio

I’d like to add swimming as a form of cardio to aid in improving cardiovascular endurance, but am not sure where i should add it. My current schedule looks like this


Su: 20 min running
M: Chest/Back
Tu: rotator cuff, 10 min cardio
W: Legs/lower back, tai chi
F: Arms
Sa: HOC roadwork


Based on this schedule, when would be a good day to add swimming.

Honestly, considering the fact that swimming has no eccentric component whatsoever, you could probably fit it in anywhere it’s convenient.

I would go either for Tuesday, replacing the 10 minutes cardio or Sunday after your run. It would make a nice compliment to leg only cardio.
