I am unable to order so far due to traces of peanuts on Surge Recovery.

Is there a way I can make something similar for my post-workout?

Yes.
Buy maltodextrin/dextrose and whey hydrolysate which can be found in various places.

Search for “Solving the Post-Workout Puzzle” by John Berardi on this site.

He gives examples of how to make a crude homemade version.

Some of us have been experimenting with Surge Workout Fuel + MAG-10 during and after training with good success.

It seems that I may be able to order Surge Recovery after all it may just be tree nuts.

Would Surge Recovery be the best option?

IMO, yes.

Buying all the ingredients separately ends up costing as much or more, and even then you’re usually left with something that tastes pretty vile.

Well I just found out I can indulge on the Chocolate/Raspberry flavors.

I’d be interested to learn more about this. Looking at both, it seems that you are getting a good amount of all or most of the nutrients in the Anaconda protocol, just at a different time and in different doses.
