Surge or Homemade Drink?



I need your advice. I need to start doing my post workout drink in the correct way and after some research I have a dilema of sorts.
There seems to be two choices:

2) A Home made alternative

What is your opinion on this? I need to get this really right since this is arguably the most important drink of them all.
