I was wondering if anyone thought Surge would be great for right after practice each day. I feel like it will only help my recovery after tough practices throughout the week and I was thinking of also using it after games. My alternate plan was two sccops of Grow! Whey with some glutamine and creatine when I run out of Surge. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Depends what kind of practice it is. I know that some practices are mostly technical/skills oriented and there’s a lot of standing around. If, however, its more like a preseason with a focus on fitness, then Surge would probably be appropriate.
If you’re eating at that time of day anyway it seems like a good idea to me. You’ll end up putting together some carbs and protein regardless, so why not just save yourself the hassle of putting it all together?
