Supplemental Off-Day Exercises

So after pneumonia for the second time this year (taking all of August off, loosing about 15 pounds), I’m getting back into my Bill Starr 5x5 (Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos) program. MWF at 8:30 p.m., my training buddy and I lift. We have to finish by 10 so I can get into bed before it gets too late.

On Mondays and Fridays, it’s hard to finish our main lifts by 10, let alone get our supplemental exercises done (sit ups, hyper extensions, etc).

So the question is: will doing the supplemental exercises for the program the following day kill my recovery?

It shouldn’t but you’ll have to try it out to see how your body responds.
