I’m 21 years old and have been an athlete for quite a while. I fence at least three days a week for about 3 hours average. I’m changing schools next year and will be fencign varsity. I’m trying to get in better shape by putting on lean muscle mass before then. I’m trying to put on as much lean mass as possible (right now, later I’ll be focusing on power and speed), and as quickly as possible. I lift 5 days a week and have a good diet. I’m wondering about supplements. I already take creatine, protein, and a multi-vitamin.
Here’s my plan:
Using what I have left (protein and multi-vitamin). Getting some kind of carb supplement, either creatine or CEE, glutamine capsules (any recommendations?), and Spike. I’m trying to up the intensity of my program (fencing, lifting, running) without getting so tired. I would take probably three protein/carb shakes per day.
By the way, I am 21 years old, 5’10", 160 lbs, and maybe like 15% bodyfat.
