Super Squats: How to Gain 30 lbs of muscle in 6 weeks.
Anyone ever heard of this book? I’m wondering if it would have helpful information/routines in it that I could follow… I’m the worst “routine” builder there is, heh.
I’m not actually expecting to gain 30lbs of muscle in 6 weeks, I was more or less wondering if anyone happened to have seen this book before and for reviews.
2)Do one set of 20 reps with same weight, with at least three very deep breaths in between each rep.
3)Die.
4)When you respawn, do a set of 25 reps of pullovers to “stretch your ribcage”. LIGHT pullovers; 20 pounds or so. The point is to stretch things out a bit.
5)Drink around a gallon or so of milk a day, and eat like there’s no tomorrow.
Oh, and increase the weight by 5-10 pounds EVERY workout (assuming you got all 20 reps).
IIRC, the program outlined is the following, performed three times a week:
3x10 Military press
3x12 Bench
2x15 Bent over row
2x10 Curl
1x20 Squat
1x20 Pullover
1x15 Deadlift
1x20 Pullover
3x20 Calf raise
1x25 Crunch
The book also features an abbreviated routine.
Apart from that, there is some “oldschool” advice regarding nutrition (see the above post by LUEshi).
If putting on some mass is your goal, give it a try…
