Post the best aesthetic physiques here. I’ll be focussing more on open guys, but classic physique guys are definitely welcome.
Charles Clairmonte, British guy born in Barbados.
Flex Wheeler, of course!
Bob Paris.
Francis Benfatto.

I used to train in the same gym as Charles Clairmonte back in 95/96. He has always been one of my favorite and would deff be on the top of my list.
Lee Labrada.
I’ve always thought Benfatto had the most aesthetic physique over all. Everything flowed together, small joints, yet stupid good muscle bellies, where everything pops.
He was criticised in his time for not having as big legs, or the overall mass of the guys that placed higher than him. Nevertheless I always thought he looked better than all the people that beat him.
Probably the most aesthetic current guy - Samson Dauda.
I was going to post up Brian but couldn’t find the right picture. Incredible size and shape.
This is a weird question, but as a non-bodybuilder “fan” (I like the looks of the competitors, I just don’t follow the sport at all), has there been a particular nation, or since the U.S. might be the answer to that, a particular racial/ethnic group that tends to perform well in bodybuilding?
Like how Kenyans are great runners, certain Europeans and Latin Americans excel at soccer (sorry, football), etc.
Or is it pretty varied? I feel like I see great bodybuilders from all over and “in all colors.”
Yer that’s a good question. I don’t know the facts in terms of where all the winners are from but I would say it is very varied.
Statistically, it’s black Americans who have won the most, but it’s pretty varied overall.

Though Matt Mendenhall had great symmetry, he was a massive man for his time.
He was a guy who had the genetics to win the Mr.O, but just had bad luck with illness, a car accident, and coming up against the toughest competitors (a close 2nd to Lee Haney at the 1982 nationals at 22 years old).
Look at the calf genetics!
Dexter.
I saw Dexter Jackson win his first contest. He was the only bantamweight to win the overall at a national qualifier in Florida
