Currently doing JB's Scrawny to Brawny routine which calls for Trap Bar Deadlifts.
Unfortunately my gym does not have a trap bar. What can i do to substitute with?
How about regular deadlifts with a barbell? Or maybe with heavy dumbells?
I have a trap bar which I bought from ny barbell and use on a regular basis. The closest thing (grip,position, stance, etc.) would be to use a heavy dumbell in each hand held parallel to each other and by your sides.
I agree DB's would be the closest,but just keep in mind that when you got to the next program your straight bar dl is gonna be 50-100lbs lighter then your trap bar dl
