Please forgive me if this has been posted already or if this belongs in a different forum. I want to start the I-Bodybuilder program but I do not have access to a leg press. What would be the best substitute exercise for it?
Barbell hack squat
Bulgarian split squats with DB or BB maybe.
Thanks for the replies. I will try both of them out in my next few sessions to see how they feel. I plan on starting in a couple weeks when I pick up my full cage. I’ve been using a half cage and it is starting to get really annoying.
Well it depends what you are concerned about.
If it is safety you can squat using dumbells.
If you want to isolate your quads you can do the above mentioned with each heel on a 25 pounds plate.

I suggest you substitute any routine in this thread: http://tnation.T-Nation.com/free_online_forum/sports_body_training_performance_bodybuilding/do_this_routine_instead_of_that_dumb_one for IBB. I promise you my first born child you wouldn’t be happy with your results on that program.
