Sub Scapular Musculature

Alright, so my shoulder/ shoulder blade have been giving me trouble for a while. Recently went to see a DO about it, he sent me to the MRI. MRI came back and showed “thickening” of the muscle under and around my scapula (no idea what that means).

Anyway, I just wondered if anyone had any experience with this? The dr over at the MRI place basically told me “take pain killers” and I don’t see my other doctor for a bit.


Sounds like you need to do some stretching for that area. You also need to add in more pulling than pushing. Go see a PT at least 1 or 2 times, they will get you on the right path. I had shoulder pain for months believing I had a tear. 4 trips to the PT and I feel better than I have for the past 6 months. He gave me exercises and stretches to do to help correct my imbalance.
