Ok, so let me first give a bit of background. I did SL5x5 my first deployment in 2012 which was my first serious lifting schedule. 2013, my second deployment I did 5/3/1. I hit the gym sporadically between those time periods and till now, the Infantry is not conducive to the strongman-type build ie. PT, field ops, training schools. Now I am getting out and I have all the time in the world to just train. I’ve been looking around online for a good solid program to follow but I don’t see any that I honestly like. Any suggestions or advice?
5-3-1 is still viable. If you understand Westside, it’s easy to incorporate events.
Theres a 531 for strongman. Im into my 2nd cycle and loving it.
