We have to becareful when we talk about stretching. No matter how stretched your muscles are, you have to be able to have strength through that full range of motion, or flexibility is useless. This is why Olympic Lifts and their variation are paramount in training. You have to have the strength through that full range of motion. This is done with Dynamic and static stretching. Also, here is where people screw up…it happens in the weight room over a period of time. Dont just go stretch, and think you are ready for action. Dont just static stretch and think that it prepares you for explosive movements. You have to have a holistic approach to range of motion training. It should be integrated into all parts of your training
