Stretching Advice

Hey i am trying to get more flexible…is it possible to become more flexible by just stretching i need to work on my groin the most any input appreciated

Yeah, regular stretching improves flexibility. You should pull the stretch to the point where it’s uncomfortable, but not painful. Stretch once a day, 3-7 days per week, holding each stretch 30 seconds. (There’s research that shows it’s necessary to hold a stretch for 30 seconds in order to cause a lasting change in muscle length.)

And don’t be one of those jackasses that stretches when they’re cold.

I personally like to do a warm up/dynamic warm up, workout (or whatever you’re going to do), then a little more dynamic type stretching and static stretching when I’m done.

I also recommend a foam roller. This will help with flexibility as well.
