Strength to Weight Ratio

I realize that the squat and bench press are core exercises for building strength.
However, I also know that the badass Navy SEALS measure strength to weight ratio by the pull up.
They can care less about what someone can bench press or squat on their entry test.
I always keep this in my mind as I go through my workout year.

True, but your average powerlifter or olympic lifter probably couldn’t give a toss how many pull ups they could do.

Horses for courses I guess, just depends how you want to measure it.

No one cares
