I am curious as to how feasible it is to enter a strength phase, attempting to make gains with that while also trying to cut body fat. I am about 5’10.5", 215 lbs, 20% bf, lifts are as following, squats 450, bench 300lbs, deads 420. So yeah, any help would be great, thanks!
I dont see any reason why you cant train for strength and cut BF at the same time. You just need to be sure that you are getting enough fuel for the workouts.
I liked Waterbury’s Strength Focused Mesocycle and IMHO I would think it would be acceptable for a fat loss phase, as the volume was very low. I would be sure to keep up the Surge for periworkout nutrition even while attempting fat loss.
