Strength Layer

So today was my first strength focused layer using floor deads

1rm ramp: 415
Clusters : 375x3, 365 x 3, 365 x 3
2rm ramp: 355
Clusters: 315 x 4, 315 x 6, 315 x 4
3rm ramp: 295
Clusters: 275 x 11

Couple questions
1- I ran HP mass for a while and it seems that u used to prefer submaximal training. What made u change to gravy singles etc, since it seems that the layer system is based on using lifts in the 80-95% range

2- this was literally one of the hardest workouts of my life. It’s one thing to work up to a top set, but another thing to ramp up to a top set and do dozens more singles around that weight:)

3- how long can you train this hard without dying LOL :). I feel good but that was a monster session!!
