Strategic/Planned Overreaching

In about 5 weeks, I am going to be going on vacation where I will likely have zero chance to workout (unless I do random bodyweight stuff). I am currently on the Texas Method (not sure if you like or agree with this, but bare with me here), and I’ve done plenty of reading on various t-nation articles about strategic overreaching, stating I should have a 40% increase in volume for anywhere from 5-10 days. You actually replied in a post awhile back in which you state that for a 5 day rest/no workout period, a 7 day overreach would be enough. I am guessing for 7 days of inactivity, 10 days is a good number to increase my volume? Thanks!

7 would be enough…Id keep the same volume per session but train 7 days in a row
