Stopping Mid-Set to Fix Technique

Just getting some of the experienced guys in here opinions. I generally do 5x5 fsl for lower body lifts generating as much force as possible but sometimes things dont feel right so mid set i start pausing reps to reset my technique or get my joints in place. Should i discourage this and keep each rep the same or focus on the volume as main priority. thank you.
