Has anyone used the slater stone molds for making Atlas Stones? I was thinking of getting some stones to work with so this seems to be pretty cool and cost effective.
Yes, they work very well.
Just remember to shake and vibrate the molds good to get all the air bubbles out or else you get craggy stones.
Thanks 4 the reply Kalle
I 2nd that. Slater’s is pretty much the place to go to for stone mold nowadays , my garage gym bud uses them and they’re great.
Slater’s provides the instructions, just follow them.
I bought a 175# stone made with the Slater mold from a guy here in town. It was his prototype and I got it for $60. It’s pretty bad ass.
