Just figured I’d post this little excerpt from the openining paragraph of an ESPN article.

PITTSBURGH – Steve Courson, the former offensive lineman for the Pittsburgh Steelers who developed a heart problem after becoming one of the first NFL players to acknowledge using steroids, was killed Thursday when a tree he was cutting fell on him.

Must be the steroids.

It makes sense that the heart condition, which is most likely to come in older age, was preceded by the steroid use, which is more likely to come in younger age.

They did a good job of sewing the two together.
