I’m looking to add in some step-ups to help even out the strength in my non-jerk leg. I don’t have a plyo box or anything, so would it be safe to just stack plates? I’ve literally never done this movement.


Sounds risky. Why not reverse lunges?

i prefer split squats with the bar in the front squat position. i find controlling the eccentric with step-ups is to difficult to allow enough weight to gain noticeable strength in a reasonable amount of time
