Studying abroad takes me to Santiago, Chile this semester. As I speak with the people who live here, I learn about their economic habits, the trading systems etc., refereed to as Steady. Now I really am surprised that America doesn’t have any programs like the Chilean government does, especially when this country is proof that the system functions so well. Then I found a Glenn Beck video on their sustained long term embracing of free market principles (not sure where the acronym came from?) and this reason is credited for much of their success.
