Starting To Lift

Hey guys this is my first post on T-Nation I am a 16 year old kid living in canada and i’m looking to start working out and getting a seriously sick fucking body. A body that will make girls moist just thinking of :slight_smile:

I’m 5"10 156.5 LBS I know absoloutely nothing about lifting, diet nutrition at all.

Recently i’ve been making some stupid choices like smoking a lot of weed and I’m quiting and putting all that free time towards somthing healthy and useful for my body which is lifting.

So i dont know if you guys have some articles or somthing to get me started.

as of now im not working and getting amembership at the gym is $$$$$$$$ like 350 for a year thats pretty steep for 16.

anyway if any1s got stuff to say to start me out then plesae do.

To get more tail all you need to do is pull-ups, push-ups, sit-ups and light squats. Just go here:

This is ZEB’s chinning guide. Apply the same principles to all the four exercises above. For decent goals: you must learn to do at least 20 pullups, 50 pushups, 20 squats with 50lb(any heavy object you can find) and 3 sets of 30 tight sit-ups.

As for diet, don’t eat junk food and try to get more meat, eggs and whole milk(if yo have access to raw milk that would be perfect). Simple.

Perhaps you’ll get into a decent enough shape that you won’t need to do weights at all. Because if you’ve never trained you don’t really know what your goals are until you see your body go through changes. You’ll be surprised how buff you can get by just doing these simple exercises routinely.

To start nail a solid diet. Howw??? start by reading all these plus some and come on back with your questions. These will give a GREAT base of knowledge. Read, absorb, and put into action.

Training. Stick to the money movements. Bench, squat, deads, chins, rows, presses, etc. Check out the dog school series. ( search function) and any and all of the training articles on this site. Find one that looks good, you can understand and feel you will enjoy. Do it as written to cpompleteion then choose another.

If you read up on some and get back to us I am sure we can answer your questions.
