Starting the Monolith

After dancing around with the idea I’m going to start the monolith on Monday after one year on 5/3/1 using the young Jim Wendler template. Has anyone ever done it and if so what were your results. My only concern is of at 41 it is too much volume.

I’m 52 and, at three days a week, volume was not an issue.

Just make sure you eat a good bit and regulate your soreness, intensity, etc. Its a great program and it definitely works, but will run your ass down if you aren’t eating well, sleeping well and taking days where you need them.

Just remember so what if it takes you two weeks to do one week, life, soreness, etc. just as long as you get the work done
