Starting Point: Workouts for Strength

I recently started to lifting weights and I would like some tips on workouts to get stronger, and also be able to have explosiveness-speed…any tips on some good workouts?

This is a great program called 5x5 that will get you moving some decent weights in no time. Explosiveness and speed will come with strength increases as a beginner.

Just about any decent workout plan that includes your entire body (i.e. not just curls and bench press) will be good enough. Your diet is the biggest key to your success. Read the first four threads in this forum.
