Starting Berardi's Carb Cycling. Comments?

HEy guys,

I have taken a few weeks of training, and have decided to get back into it asap. I had recently read John Berardi’s article on carb cycling and thought I’d give it a go ( http://www.T-Nation.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance/the_carb_cycling_codex ).

I have calculated alll my stats according to his methods, would like you guys to check and see if its good to go!

age: 26yrs, weight: 77kg, height: 185cm

I require 2990 calories to maintain my current size/weight. Add an extra 20 percent and I would require 3588 calories to gain muscle.

as fort he diet, I would require 1.5g of protein for each pound of body weight ( 169.4 lbs x 1.5 = 251g of protein) I would require the same 251g for carbs and 175g fat - this would be for the moderate days.

for the high car days I would increase carbs by 125percent which would bring it up to 313g. The fat and protein would remain the same.

for the low carb days I would reduce it by 75percent, and the fat and protein would also remain the same.

Apart from this I would lalso be taking MD shakes pre workout, Surge Recovery post workout, Flameout capsules 3 times daily, and zma before bed.

I do have a family history of high cholesterol, will this nutrition I have listed effect me??? Will any of the protein shakes efeect it as well???
