people without a lot of web design experience come up with 6 figure websites all the time.
however, said websites offer users a novel experience they can’t find anywhere else. if you were hell bent on getting into social media, you’d be much more likely to be successful coming up with a facebook app rather than trying to reinvent the wheel. There are multi-million dollar companies that simply develop facebook apps!
Alternatively make a site full of funny shit that will be popular rather than FaceSpace the NEW networking site!
I mean not just the old classics but all the new funny shit you can find.Everyone loves those kinda sites and will visit every day to see new stuff.

Trust me, it all takes practice :P, and, cumulative experience in order to create something that will only be “SLIGHTLY” of what you want it to be.
I spend years programming video games, and, no matter what there is always a barrier, whether it be interface, or the fact the compiler is not capable of such things.
If you care to say the latter, then clearly you are lazy… There is absuloutely no fucking way a computer will create what you want exactly.
Don’t get me wrong, programming is great, but, you won’t always make the Mona Lisa here, no matter how polished it is.
If you understand what’s going on here, you might have a chance.
