Staple Tests for Hyperthyroidism Checks?

After doing some due diligence and talking to my doctor, I am going to order bloodwork for thyroid issues on top of my testoserone.

T3, T4? should i include E2 as a supplementary test?

If doc will run e2 why not. For HYPER ask for TSI. Don’t bother with t3 or t4 get the ft3 and ft4.

awesome. thanks man.

if you know anything about the symptoms of hyperthyroidism, would morning fatigue, low libido, brain fog and excessive sweating all be components of the issue?

i swear, i recall matching off with 80%+ of the symptomps. it was almost eerie, and it wasnt recognition bias whatsoever.

lastly, is there causation in low T from hyperthyroidism?

thanks a bunch guys. you’re a breadth of knowledge.

Also ask for

anti-tpo
anti-tg

Those are hashi’s markers for Hypo and it may also be a cause for swings into Hyper.

And for Hyper ask for TRAb along with TSI.

Not sure about how close hyper relates to low test issues but they say treat thyroid first and see what happens, of improvements are found when thyroid gets sorted out.

Yes a lot of those symptoms can be signs hyper. Rapid heart rate? Weight loss?

Low T can drag down thyroid and vise verse and replacement of one can affect the other.

Do you use iodized salt?
Have you checked your waking and afternoon body temperatures?
