Stallone: Make Test Over-the-Counter

“Testosterone to me is so important for a sense of well-being when you get older,” Stallone says.

“Everyone over 40 years old would be wise to investigate it because it increases the quality of your life. Mark my words. In 10 years it will be over the counter.”

Man, if only it would happen…

If Test was legal to those 40+ I would have something to look foreward to now that i’m past 21. The morning of my 40th birthday I would be waiting for the pharmacy to open w/ my DL in my hand.

Perhaps if the US adopts social health care and they phase out the Big Pharma involvement (if it’s possible), it may become more of a reality. If money is taken out of the equation, the idea of legal testosterone (and certain other drugs) seems pretty normal. Look at where T is legal: countries with social health care systems.

Great point. Hope that happens before I get too old and crusty. Pretty impressed with ol Stallone taking a stand in defense of them both. I just recently took in his latest Rambo, and have to say, though a tad over the top, I found it more entertaining than the others. Unfortunately I don't think much of his acting skills, but he's ok overall. The special effects were very good, actually seeing limbs flying off bodies, it was very realistic in that respect during fight scenes, so I give it an overall B.

Hope the Rambo critique didn’t hijack too bad. Tried to keep it short.
Keep our fingers crossed for change in this country. Legalized test and hgh being one of them!!

I remember having a conversation with a powerlifter friend of mine who was competing at the international level, and I asked him why the Europeans were so dominant in powerlifting/olympic-lifting/strongman. He said it was in-part because those countries don’t criminalize/stigmatize AAS usage, and people have over-the-counter access to clean human-grade AAS. They didn’t have to sneak around to get AAS, or feel like a social outcast because they were XL-size human beings. He said when he was in Russia and Sweden, the people were fine about all these big dudes walking about, no-one looked at them funny or commented on how muscle-bound they were (as they would here in Canada/USA).

My wife’s oncologist is originally from Europe. He told us that had my wife been a patient in most European countries including Canada that her Herceptin would have been rationized and she would have gotten less than half of what she got in the US because it’s so expensive. She would most likely be dead if that were the case.

Making test legal has nothing to do with socialized medicine and infact if it was legal there would be ton of money to be made in it.

Why is your avatar of a little girl talking to a grown man while he’s on the shitter? That’s creepy.

But anyhow, I would rather the federal government negotiate some kind of price cap for pharmaceuticals as opposed to any kind of social health care. I feel more comfortable leaving that notion to countries that don’t mind their government have a ridiculously long-reaching arm, elbow-deep in their economy, bureaucratizing the otherwise free market. Not to mention the countless jobs that would be lost.

Everybody wants free shit.

Unfortunately in this country the free market has failed us. We pay more for health care then any other industrialized nation on the planet and are far from the top of the list when it comes to quality of health care received.

That grown man is me and the girl is my daughter. It’s a play off of my previous av. No more creepy that having Reagan as an av.

Considering what Germans consider porn you probably shouldn’t talk.

I’m glad someone in the spotlight has the balls to defend their use. Maybe the gutless athletes will take a cue from Sly.

I 2nd that.

Maybe Stallone should run for president. Better than Hillary or Mc Cain. Hey if Reagan can become president and he was a dam good one, Sly gets my vote.

You’re damn right there Hulk.

What McGwire said:

“I’m not here to talk about the past.” (while holding back tears)

What McGwire should have said:

“Fuck you!!! Anybody else here hit 70 homers in a season and 50 four seasons in a row? Nope. I took steroids, trained harder than any of you bastards can imagine, and I earned what I got. So what if I used some steroids in the process, I still had to work my ass off to do what I did. So once again, fuck you!!!”

Damn Straight!..

About time somebody agrees with me on that…

Anybody catch Roger Clemens lately?

No wonder steroids have such a bad name in this country. Any time there is any suspicion, it seems the object of the suspicion blames it on their “trainer” and then greatly embellishes the fact…

I could name a few others as well… Bonds among them…

I just caught this thread. I love Stallone so much for saying that. I wish more people would follow his lead, the we-need-drugs stance, than the I’m-an-angel-and-I-saw-no-needle one. If what he says becomes true, then I have 12 years to go. Shit.
