Stalling Squats

Yes, and this is a hindrance that results from weak links in the chain.

Here are some things that have helped my squat progress:

  1. Squatting 3-4 days a week.
  2. Bottom position squats
  3. Partial squats
  4. ab wheel pretty much every day.

Whatever your 1rm actually is, try and get alot of work/reps done with a weight that is a little less than that, something you can rep 2-3 times without looking like a crumpled gimp kid. Get it to feel fast and easy.

I emphasize partial squats because doing some of those 1-2 times a week your regular squat weights will start to feel a hell of alot lighter.

You haven’t mentioned diet or bodyweight changes. If your bodyweight is not increasing you need more food.
