Stainless Steel Shaker Bottle

Yeah, I know we’ve all searched for one to no avail. Well, it occurred to me that cocktail shakers might do the trick. Check out this one I found online, but haven’t ordered yet.

I like the Sigg stainless steel bottle.

Both are nice bottles, but I believe the one I referenced is a shaker bottle with a wire mesh insert.

I had a Sigg and it was hell to clean inside. How did you do it jpb?

Use a baby bottle brush or shake it with boiling water + soap.

That’s what I do.

Those are slick looking but damn not cheap!

Bottom line is I would love a stainless steel SHAKER bottle that I can run in the dishwasher. I have seen plastic bottles with a stainless steel ball that supposedly mixes better than the mesh. Maybe I’ll buy one of those and use the ball with a steel cocktail shaker.

Little springy ball is the bar far the best invention to a shaker bottle, add that to a SS shaker and you have heaven I would bet.

Where do you guys find shakes with those steel mesh balls? I have never seen one.

Ok, now I’m interested.

I think I may actually fork out the money for one of those 'Klean Kanteen’s.

Any testimonials?

I don’t think you really even need the mesh screen thingy. I assume everyone in this thread uses Metabolic Drive, Grow! Whey, and Surge? I’ve mixed all of them in bottles with no screens with pretty much no issue(Surge does clump a bit, but nothing terrible).

How many ounces does this hold?

why is having a ss bottle so important to you all?

Plastics leach chemeecals into your shit, bro.

But you are not storing the shake in the shaker for more than a few hours, right?

The leaching should only occur with LONG TERM exposure of the contents to the plastic coating.

I just use a CamelBak BPA Free 32 oz bottle. Love it. It actually gets cold more quickly I think.

True to some extent, but unless it sits for some time or is heated, I don’t think it’s anything to get too worked up over.

Here’s the shaker cup with “blender ball” that I bought on eBay for $10.00 (including shipping costs). Works like a charm.
