Squeeze Press, Anyone?

I’ve been having issues with feeling all pressing movements in my front delts too much lately so I figured I’d try the squeeze press. Hot dang, I really like this movement. I was wondering if anyone that’s spent some time with it has any suggestions on periodization or tempo or any overall opinions.

Slow up and down squeezing as hard as I can seems to work good for now but I’ll be experimenting options. Using low incline for now.


I like using the squeeze press as part of a chest superset. Currently using it following dips and it seems to be working well

Is this just squeezing your hands together while benching or something?

Neutral grip/semi-supinated squeezing two hex DB’s together as you press up
