yeah ive tried wraps… i still get high amounts of pain for a good 24 hrs after then in subsides a little. i tried bench for the first time after i went the docs just for some high reps and it would seem pretty obvious that something is off. lots of snapping with movement… nerve irritation in the elbow and general fucked up’ness in both wrists.
Where/how does it hurt exactly?
pain increases with activity such as gripping in certain posistions like lifting things at work to pack in boxes. pain on the top and thumb side of the wrist when benching… pressing. pain feels sharp in general. also get lots of snapping going on after lifting when i move my wrists. most of the pain is centred around the top and below the thumb on the wrist.
Try this test and let us know how it feels-
Check out this way of gripping the weight. It might be a cool way to work around your injury

=(
That sucks man. I’ve had wrist pains too (de quervain’s tenosynovitis).
It hurt real fucking bad, and eventually had to get surgery on it.
I know others have said this already, but try a shit-ton of fish oil and thoroughly warming the wrist up before you do anything.
I was popping fish oil like they were candy during this mess, and my wrist felt much better and fluid while training.
It aint good but lifes a bitch… bad lifting form taught me a tough lesson. The doc said they wouldn’t even consider that i may need surgery. I take 1000 mg a day of the fish oil. It helps to a degree.
I rehabbed a wrist injury with reverse curls once. Could be worth a try.
What were your symptoms yogi? How long were you injured/in pain for?
