We have all heard the guy that yells squats and milk! for every other post about not being able to gain muscle or get any stronger. yes? but does anyone accually take it on a serious note? many beginers (me) take this comment as a joke. To think that oh squats are not what makes a body big. Ive personaly seen what squats and milk can do for you.
My friend used to bench more than me for a long time. It kind of got under my skin that he always had the better bench and i never progressed. So instead of benching and curling all day, i added squats.
Every once in a while, i would try a max bench attempt, and one day, something happend. Even though i stoped bench pressing, i got better. I finally caught up to him at 205. He got it up once and i hucked it up twice. Moral of the story is; Only losers dont squat.
