Squats and Deadlifts with Vibrams

I use mine as a competition Deadlift shoe. The thin sole reduces the distance of the lift a bit. Haven’t tried them for squats. My only advice would be to get used to them gradually, since there really is a lot less support than you may be used to.

I don’t see a problem with them for training, but personally I like to train in the same or at least similar equipment to what I wear in competition. It depends where you compete by five fingers are not IPF (USAPL) approved, not being able to wear them in competition would dissuade me from using them in training.
