Squat Induced Bump?

A short while ago I noticed a bump forming at the base of my neck where I test the bar while doing back squats. It seems to get irritated whenever I lift. Was wondering if it should be something to worry about and if anyone has had any experience like it

Sounds normal to me. You’ll get used to it.

Sounds like it could be your C7. It’s common to have a prominent/visible C7. I don’t back squat myself due to wrist issues but I wonder if you just need to adjust the bar height down a little?
