So i have been lifting for a few years now.. pretty heavily for a 43 year old. I also do Muay Thia as well.. I had a motorcycle crash a few years back and messed up my hips.. i have never been able to get deep into my squats without allot of pain.. (this comes from years of football) i,m guessing as well. So this week after X-rays i have been told i have Arthritis in my hips.. one is pretty bad.. they other is just the beginning. i was told to drop high impact stuff like my Muay thai and squats..
So i,m wondering what i could replace Squats with .. that will help still build muscle and strength and keep me in the gym safely. has anyone here been in the same postion?
