I sprained my wrist about a week ago and I havn’t worked out since it happened. I’m waiting for it to heal, so I did some curls today to see if it was better yet and I noticed that not only did my sprained wrist hurt, but my other wrist was getting a bit sore. Could that just be from not working out over the past week?
OK, what gave you the idea that NOT working out gave you a sore wrist?

Nothing happened to my other wrist that could have made it sore, which is why I’m asking if exercising after not exercising in a short period hurts your joints or not. Since I started working out I havn’t stopped so I don’t remember if my joints were sore after the first couple times I lifted weights.
The answer is no. I take a week off after lifting six and I don’t have joint pain or anything. I usually get a little joint pain before I take the week, but that’s just from lifting.
I do get a little muscle soreness since I also change up my routine, and, it’s been like a week since I lifted.
