spot reduction

I read an article in the t-mag section that said you lose fat from your abs first then your arms and legs. well my arms and legs are pretty vasculary, but I still have a lot of fat on my torso, front and back. How would you fix this?

By eating less.

As I understand it, it is a matter of body type as to which areas lose fat first. Basically, if you naturally have big legs, you lose fat in the belly area first. If you have naturally thin legs, you lose fat in the belly area last. Although I don’t think that is a hard and fast rule. And actually it is not that you lose fat there first, you simply have less fat there to begin with.
